Business Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Services

KS Web Development provides professional website design, development, and maintenance services. Our offerings include Core Website Packages (Starter, Professional, and E-commerce) , Specialized Functional Add-ons, Custom Programming, and optional Copywriting.

2. Pricing and Taxes

Estimates: All provided prices for Core Packages and Add-ons are starting estimates and may vary based on specific project requirements.
Custom Development: Custom programming is billed at an hourly rate of €40/hour. Because these solutions are engineered from the ground up, we do not offer flat-fee packages for custom work; clients pay for actual development time.
VAT: Prices exclude applicable taxes. For EU-based businesses with a valid VAT ID, the Reverse Charge mechanism applies (0% VAT). Otherwise, the standard Greek VAT rate of 24% is applied.

3. Payment Terms

To commence a project, the following payment schedule applies:

40% upfront deposit to initiate development.
40% upon design approval.
20% prior to the final launch of the website.

4. Client Responsibilities and Content

Content Provision: Clients are responsible for providing all website copy (text) and high-resolution imagery.
Additional Services: Content creation or professional photography services are available as an additional service at an hourly rate.
Approvals: Delays in providing content or feedback may result in the rescheduling of the project timeline.

5. Hosting and Domain Names

Exclusion: Hosting fees and domain name registrations are not included in the development fee.
Recommendations: We recommend high-performance providers such as Hetzner, SiteGround, or WP Engine. The estimated cost for premium hosting is approximately €150-€250/year.

6. Maintenance and Support Plans

Clients may opt for monthly maintenance plans to ensure their digital assets remain secure and updated:

Essential (€40/month): Includes core/plugin updates, weekly backups, and basic monitoring.
Business Plus (€85/month): Includes Essential features plus 1 hour of content updates and speed optimization.
Enterprise (€140/month): Includes daily backups, priority support, and monthly technical SEO checks.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Project Cancellation: The 40% upfront deposit required to commence development is non-refundable. If the client cancels the project after the design approval stage, the second installment of 40% remains due and non-refundable to cover the work performed up to that point.
Maintenance Plan Termination: Maintenance and Support Plans are billed monthly. Clients may cancel these plans at any time, however, the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing month. Fees for the current billing cycle are non-refundable.
